CTP (Chemisch Thermische Prozesstechnik GmbH) headquartered in Graz, Austria and its global network of companies which includes CTP Sinto America have sold over 800 large scale Air Pollution Control systems worldwide. Beginning in 1985, CTP and its engineers and scientists developed and patented many novel devices and processes to control a variety of air pollutants. They hold over 25 patents and were some of the first to develop regenerative and recuperative type equipment that could destroy VOCs and other emissions in the most economical way possible. Since then, we have been designing custom engineered systems to tackle the most challenging emission types including resinous substances such as high molecular weight tars from carbon electrode manufacturing, phenol formaldehyde resins, epoxy resins, pinenes and turpenes from wood dryers.
The VOXcube Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) is a 2-bed or 3-bed compact design for the destruction of VOCs. It consists of a manifold to control the direction of flow through heat exchangers and a reaction zone or chamber. Heat energy in the purified gas is released into the thermal mass of the high surface area ceramic blocks in the heat exchangers. Upon flow reversal contaminated gas is preheated as it flows to the reaction zone. Contaminated gas remaining in the heat exchanger is purged with clean exhaust to suppress peaks in emissions and thermal efficiency. The VOXcube comes in sixteen different sizes based on flow volume.
Customers have shown their satisfaction with the equipment through many repeat sales. CTP Sinto America is working hard to leverage that international reputation for high quality products and service into sales in the North American market.
