The Mantisgrip Backing Clip Company sells our patented designs directly to the Construction industry. We contract with local sheet metal fabricators to produce our clips for local projects. Environmentally mindful, we operate using "Lean and Green" management principles.
Our backing clip is a connector used to attach backing, blocking, and nailer boards to stud framing. During the wall framing process, this clip temporarily affixes to the studs using hand pressure until permanent mechanical fasteners are installed. After the rough-in by all trades, the backer boards are pressed into the clip using hand pressure.
