Advanced Welding Services is a welding service provider for many types of metals including specialty alloys. Our welding processes include: Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW). Our Main Office with two shops are located in Houston north of Hwy 290/Hollister totaling 55,500 covered square feet of fabrication and storage space and Overhead crane capacity of (2) 20 Ton, (1) 15 Ton and (2) 10 ton cranes. Additionally we have a facility at The Port of New Iberia with 1900’ of waterfront, 12’ water depth and 35,000 square feet of fabrication and storage space. Overhead crane capacity here includes of (2) 20 ton cranes and (1) 10 ton crane. Our full time Welding Engineer routinely works with ABS and DNV surveyors on our projects. We also have 300+ Welding Procedures, many ABS and DNV approved. AWS routinely works with AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and NACE MR0175. Additional codes and standards include API specifications 1104, 6A, 16A, 2B, RP2A, RP14E, and 14D to name a few. AWS has fabricated structures in accordance with DNV standards for lifting appliances and offshore standards such as 2.7-1, 2.7-2, 2.7-3, and DNV-OS-E101 as well as other customer specific standards. All AWS welders are qualified to ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1. AWS provides a post-weld heat treating service for NACE materials, specialty alloys, and any other application needing post-weld heat treatment.
